Candidate a289a809, D3D11 software renderer. Expected any displayed shortcut hint to fit or remain readable. Visual evidence: fresh-eyes/04-windows.png and 27-dark.png in the maintenance evidence. Clover, 2026-10-15: "i feel like the placeholder has to be visible. though i cant tell from the desc if it has room to grow. i should be able to read the whole tooltip. otherwise i wont know how to enter search."
